“Clean room, good breakfast and quiet, good bed, older hotel that’s been updated, small elevator, my only complaint is the workers there smoke right outside the entrance to the hotel, not good for asthmatic’s( my husband). I would recommend this hotel”

“Loved the lake behind the motel and outdoor seating. The rooms, starting with the dirty door, need a lot of TLC. Hardware hanging, countertops stained, just shabby. Driveway is in deplorable condition. Not enough light in the room.”

“Very friendly staff! Hot and filling breakfast options. Property a bit rundown - ripped screens, torn and stained floors, old mattresses, old and rusted pool area. But the rooms and common areas were very clean. ”

“Our stay at the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Beckley was excellent. The room was very spacious and clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful, making our stay even better. We would definitely stay here again!”

“The property shared an entrance with a fast-food restaurant, so it is confusing the first time there. Location made it easy to walk to several restaurants and eateries. The rooms were clean and enjoyable.”

“clean room, comfy bed and pillows. has the amenities we wanted (microwave and fridge) and good working condition except for the toilet flush which needed a harder push. Decent breakfast. Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend. ”

“We had a perfectly fine stay here and the staff were very accommodating - not sure why others have rated this place as unsafe. We needed to check in late after the front desk closed at 8 pm, but called ahead and the staff had no issues keeping it open for us. Rooms were clean and we enjoyed the art on the walls that gave a sense of the region's history. We also highly recommend getting breakfast at the Chocolate Moose just down the street - great coffee, sandwiches, and atmosphere!”

“It was really relaxing. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. It did seem a bit pricey for what it was but it’s kinda of your only option for a decent overnight traveling this route. Outback next door is good but there’s a really nice local steak place up the road a piece if you want an impressive meal.”
